What's my goal in launching Biz Growth Live?

Any one who knows me will tell you that I am passionate about connecting people to the resources and solutions that have the potential to propel their business growth - it's what I love to do!

I have been privileged to have had a successful business career and want to share my expertise with others so that they can also experience professional and personal success.

I know as a business leader, you may not have the time and resources to attend a long seminar so I came up with the idea of short weekly tele-seminars where we'll cover hot tips, strategies and leading edge business practice to help you grow your business.

I've persuaded my network of business friends and colleagues who are experts in their field to dedicate 45 minutes of their time to join me on the calls so I can 'grill them' on their best strategies and practical solutions for building a successful and profitable business.

Krishna's background

I have been in the role of a service professional for the last 20 years both inside major FTSE top 20 organisations and in consultancy practice, developing organisations and growing global brands.

Over the last 20 years, I have lived and worked in Asia, Europe and North America (across some 30 countries) working in a variety of sectors, including retailing, food, drinks, information technology and financial services, across both emerging and mature markets, experiencing first hand the challenges business leaders face in today's increasingly competitive and complex market place. So I understand what it means to establish and develop businesses in different markets and how to grow international brands.

I am the creator of leading edge business development programmes including My Brand Academy (www.mybrandacademy.com) and with my business partner Michael Ehlert of Blip Studios (www.blipstudios.com) in our business 'On Target Branding', I'm the co-creator of Express YOUR Brand (www.expressyourbrand.com).

I am passionate about the standards of professional coaching and consultancy and am Founder of the Association for Coaching in Ireland (www.associationforcoaching.com) which is one of the leading professional coaching organisations in Europe.

In addition to my consulting practice, I support professional coaches in their professional development through supervision; I lecture on leading coach training programmes; write for professional journals across Europe and North America; am actively involved in developing and implementing industry standards and accreditation of coaches; and enjoy being invited to speak speaker on the subjects of branding, human potential, motivation and how to create inspiring and high performing workplaces.

Oneocean was created to counter the approach of the majority of business development consultancies who spend much of their time looking at what is broken in an organisation versus recognising and building on the strengths of a business and leveraging the unique talents of their people.

Our experience has demonstrated that if we tap into our unique strengths and passions and embed them into our careers we will differentiate ourselves from the competition and expand both our business and personal success.

In other words, if we spend more time doing the things that play to our natural talents and strengths and which we are passionate about, we will enjoy greater success.

In the private sector we work across a variety of sectors including retail and distribution, food and drinks, information technology, banking and financial services, professional services and consultancy practices, high technology manufacturing, motor industry and petro-chemicals.

Our not-for-profit clients include charitable organisations and private trusts.

We have led and facilitated individuals, teams and organisations through acquisition, merger and disposal; working with new ventures through to mature businesses; and in markets in exponential growth to those where market share has been challenged by the entry of new competitors or changes in socio-political and economic dynamics.

Our people

Krishna De and Brian De-Alker are the founders of Oneocean.

They have established an organisational development consultancy which is straight forward, outcome driven and that provides solutions that help create successful, inspiring workplaces - one where everyone is engaged, feels valued for their unique strengths and is proud to be part of.

Krishna's expertise in developing organisations and people and her knowledge of growing global brands have been brought together to create the strategy and approach for the business.

Brian brings his expertise of outsourcing and project management to the benefit of clients managing complex change projects. He is also the mastermind behind the technical infrastructure of Oneocean.
